What is it?

The Kallio Block Party will be held in Kallio on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 12 PM to 10 PM. The event will bring music, various programs, and lots of people and noise to the area. This open and free block party is organized by volunteers from the Kallio Movement. The necessary permits for the event have been obtained, and we will adhere to appropriate regulations. We warmly welcome you to our event!

Traffic Arrangements

We will start setting up for the event on the morning of the event day at 8 AM. Traffic will return to normal on Sunday, August 3, at 1 AM.

If you have a car in the area, we kindly ask you to move it off the street well in advance. A vehicle removal notice is in effect in the area from 8 AM to 1 AM on August 2. Due to the crowd, we recommend avoiding driving in the area.

Only service vehicles and access to properties are allowed through the roadblocks.
Traffic controllers will assist drivers as needed during the event.

Environment

We will clean the area continuously throughout the event and will clean up the area after the event ends. Final cleanup will be done on the morning of Sunday, August 3. Portable toilets and dumpsters will be removed on Monday morning. We will ensure there are enough trash bins and toilets in the area. Security personnel and traffic controllers will monitor the event area according to authorities’ guidelines. There will also be a first aid team on site.
